The number of visits to the Port of Sohar has increased tremendously. All the school children from 10 years and up have been invited to visit the port as part of the program to teach the inhabitants from Sohar and Liwa about the industrial area and answer questions from the children. The interest for the very impressive Port of Sohar has risen in most areas. Government officials, dignitaries from all over the world as well as journalists wish to visit the port and learn more about the area that has evolved in Sohar and Liwa and emerged into a fully operational industrial port in just 6 years.
